I would like to convert my Bip to a mono. Am I correct in understanding there are two routes? First change the complete subframe and seat/tail unit and the second just to remove the seat padding and replace with a cover? Is there any significant difference in the final appearance? Thanks, Si
One is a mono seat subframe, mono tail unit and seat. - costs a bit of dough and look good. The other is a peice of plastic replacing/covering the passenger seat - cheap and functional.
+1 to that. The seat covers are nice but the look is far from the mono as it is much shorter and a different shape. Good option if you want to take the mrs out once and a while. Here is the seat cowel for you.... DUCATI 999 749 Monoposto Design Seat Cowl With Carbon Back Pad | eBay
Thanks for the link, looks quite smart. So the options are a seat cover for approx £150 or a complete single seat conversion for £400 - £800 (if you can track down the parts). Might just do the seat cover for now.
