That looks like the standard connector to me. You need a set of pins similar to this to pop the crimps out of the body: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Nizirioo-Terminal-Removal-Unlocking-Connector/dp/B0BC1V4NQY I did exactly this on my 999 with a set of pins I have when I wanted to withdraw the cable assembly from the Stainless Steel tube and tidy it up.
so, the R&G tail tidy has arrived which looks great. however, the new indicators have 2 wires each but the bike wiring only has one per side? any thoughts?
Auto electrics not my best thing but I would say put one to the frame/earth. One of the 2 wires may be a smaller gauge than the other, if so put the smaller one to the frame. Hope this helps.
thanks, checked out a few wiring diagrams and found the black is earth and connected to the other black wires and it worked.
