hi all Can anyone confirm a 56mm 999s lower triple clamp (yoke) and stem will fit the top triple of a 996sps? Note: this is to be used to fit Ohlins forks (53/56) from a 999s TIA
Can't confirm 100% but I know that a 999 top yoke will fit a 916 forks/stem because I did fit one to mine once, only thing that doesn't work is the steering lock won't then engage and despite it's 'skeleton' appearance it is actually heavier. So, by reverse logic I would say the bottom yoke/stem from the 999 should fit a 996. Also, when I bought a 56mm Ohlins bottom yoke for my 916, I'm fairly certain I was told it was also suitable for 999 variants.
