  1. Hi guys

finnaly got to go out on my 999s for the first time last week. BUT!! Accelerating through 4-6rpm it’s bogs down, then I get a back fire from the exhaust and it goes like it’s just been give a nitro shot!!

I think it needs a dyno and remap what do you guys thinks?

I have tune ecu and tried a couple of maps and it still the same.

    I haven’t reset TPS

and I have Leo vince ti full system

I am leicester based and willing to travel to get it to the right place to be sorted

  3. Probably the bike trying to tell you to get rid of the tacky Rizoma timing cover. (just kidding. Or am I?)

Try resetting the TPS and checking the crank position sensor air gap. On my bike the CPS connector got some water once and the bike would not rev past 5k.

The LV looks great. Best looking exhaust made for these bikes as long as you don't put a license plate holder or tail light on it.

  4. Haha I love the windowed clutch cover, but I definitely think it needs to be black!!!

mill have ago at resetting the TPS, there are some vids on the net?

I need some one to Make Me a licence plate holder for the lv, main it’s so ugly with it all on!!

  5. TPS reset is done via diagnostic software.

  6. I have tune ecu and jpdiag, do I need to just press reset on the laptop, or do I have to fiddle with the bike too?

  7. Simple button press. Do not touch anything else.

  8. Did TPS reset via tune ecu, and still having the issues,

As I accelerate the bike will dip in revs and Back fire, turning the engine light on momentarily. Then jump back into life and pull my arms off

  9. Cheap stuff first. Check battery connectors for corrosion breaks. Check cables to coils, injectors, fuel pump for chafing (lift the tank). Battery box out and check small fly lead to ECU heat sink for break corrosion. Whilst you are in there spend 3 quid on a new coil/injector/pump relay and also relocate it to top left of battery box, there is even a rubber retainer for it.

  10. I had a chat today with jhp cov and cornerspeed Ducati, They both recommended changing fuel filter.

i changed the filter today, and although it seems to idle better, it still bogs through acceleration. And back fires.

I think it’s gonna be a garage job at either one of the 2 dealers

  11. Try louigi moto in bristol
