At last - some decent repeats on TV. A Fistful of Dollars on ITV4. Made in 1964 - my dad would drive us all nuts whistling the theme tune for days afterwards. And those quality voice overdubs-can’t beat them. Hopefully good/bad/ugly on soon.
Saw that. Suggested to swmbo it was worth watching. So now watching some Bruce Willis movie on Netflix
And I forgot the special effects. The bloke with the ‘ ricochet’ button must be an 80+ wpm typist.......
I had to endure the trilogy of this, For a few dollars more and the Good the bad and the ugly along with anything else that Sergio Leone made, endlessly as a kid..... But bloody love em though
One for the Xmas list? https://www.amazon.co.uk/Complete-S...ne/dp/B008L69ICQ#immersive-view_1535144851482
Just watched it with my stepson. He's never seen any of the trilogy before and he loved it. Hopefully the other two will be on soon.
A great trilogy. Have you seen the Spaghetti Western Orchestra? My favourite part starts at 16:00 in.
Well that's a coincidence, just watched "Fistful of $" last week,"For a Few $ More" yesterday, have "The Good, Bad and The Ugly" recorded to watch some day soon. On Sky TV here.
