Get rid of them there standard pegs Farmster, if that's what they are. I like looking at other people's bikes as I'm still in the phase of looking at them, thinking that they look nice, and then remembering I have one.
I want to Dc but I want some Gilles Fx racing 1s But all the Gilles dealers are Wankers !!! Advertise they've got them & they are 3 week order from Germany ! I'd like some Dp 1s but I just can't justify the price for bits of milled Aluminium I also want silver ones & the choice is limited. And on top of that what with the Dp carbon I've bought & screen & comfort seat & Evo Tailtidy & rad guards gel no board ....... I'm skint & today a nail in the back tyre !!!
The DP ones are pretty nice though. Had a choice of those or some lightech ones in black, ended up with the DP ones, figured the black ones would get scratched at some point and drive me crazy. Chat to the dealer, they quite often do a discount if you are a regular.
Still a lot more than the silver Gilles Fx's New there £379. I had some Lightech on my 1098s there nice. I'd buy some Gia-moto ones but they don't do silver & not happy with the black / silver chassis Arrangement
I had my mind on the rizoma rear sets and bought the Rizoma B pro pegs just to get by for now as the rear sets were likely not to arrive until the summer was over. I tried just the pegs and the difference was enormous, so much so that I'll just stick with the pegs. Might be worth a try if you're struggling with the stock numbers.
The B pro pegs Are they the 1s you buy in 2 sections ? Can you get them in Silver. How much are they ? Cheers Paul.
Yep, you have to buy in two parts - pegs and adapters. Photo attached taken from the rizoma catalogue showing the peg and compatible adapters. The silver is a good match for the standard rear sets. I was sceptical at first about the looks and length (when fitted they are the same width as standard near enough) I ordered the DP pair first but never fitted them as they looked not much grippier than standard to me and when mounted would perhaps sit a little higher than the standard ones. I bought the rizomas for £84 from a local stockist.
