Plus if I was parting with that amount of dollars I’d certainly want some more upmarket callipers... Corse model or an S would be a nice option... Or even a baby R Öhlins, lightweight BST wheels, Wings, and some more Tricky Dicky components... Let’s have it
Have you seen/heard one in the flesh? The standard exhaust is quite fruity so I'm not sure that it needs £4k worth of Akra or Termis. They do a carbon cap for the exhaust for a couple of hundred quid, which I may invest in, along with a rear seat cowl for good measure.

I am fairly depressed with doing personal and company tax returns plus I will have to go to an appointment with an opthamologist about my eye op at some time, and the DWP are giving me hassle because they expect me to magic myself to Gloucester for 9am next week as they think that my doctor is a pathological liar, so they want to prove me fit to work. AND I WANT ONE!!! The first Ducati in a while that I really like .... Glad that they have gone back to single sided swinging arms. as well!

I have to agree. The Akras are way too expensive. If it were me I would have the end cap as it flows with the black frame spar and spend some money on better suspension and brake upgrade. Then, spend the change on beer and petrol.
I’m feeling for ya mte truly I am.. but look on the bright side ... I lost my sight in my left eye and my hearing in/on that side too after a series of opps a while back, but since then! the birds just won’t leave me alone, I’m like an OAP magnet to them, never attracted so many before.. The other morning, although it was freezing out, I had a flock of them after my still bagged, nuts, I hadn’t even managed to get my hands on them before they were at it. Tits flashing about everywhere there was, never seen so many in one place before, some bigger than others and boy did they know what they wanted.. Then a identical pair of beauties both by the name of Robyn turned up, my they had stunning breasts which they just luved to show off to everyone, they just had no shame it seemed.. I was rather rudely asked at some stage during the multicultural frenzy if I would like a ‘Night in Gale’ but, sadly I never actually got to see her, I heard her mind, boy could she sing too, beautiful set of pipes on her.. Also as I remember a rather shy yet naughty black bird, initially she kept her distance somewhat but there was definitely an attraction there I could tell, eventually, unable to resist no more she came to my table, whispering in my one good ear how she liked nothing better than tugging on a big fat juicy worm with her beak! Oh and yes, yes, yes, the climax, all finished off with just a single Swallow! My what an Amazing experience .. Mind you, they do say! ‘One Swallow doesn’t make a Summer’ So in that basis there’s plenty more to look forward too yet.. Chin up my Son hey.. X
I can confirm this Ming as having ridden one the exhaust note was quite nice. Only reason I could see for akra or termi is weight saving.
Same, the exhaust price gutted me. Even when Ducati store had 30% off online I still couldn't bring my self to spend the doe. However when I went in to have a fiddle and pay I was pleasantly surprised by the volume. Same sort of tone as my previous 899 but louder. When that kind of moula is dropped it'll be on sus all round. It'll do.
I completely agree about it being a very desirable bike. Never could get past the V4’s looks, this just looks so much better yet strangely similar. Definitely could be tempted when gen 2 comes out
