A small introduction

  1. Hi Guys. Newby here. Picked up my sparkly 1200S a week ago and smiling from ear to ear. I did get a few select extras with the bike, but after riding it for a few miles, some shopping is in order. I have the Termi end can on, but it still sounds standard. Decat pipe will be installed on the 600mile service to unleash the Ducati growl. Next on the list is a radiator guard, shorty levers and some paddock stands.

I swopped a Katoom 990 Adv for this and sofar so good. I am still a huge KTM fan as I do race (sorry try to) supermotos and the new 450SMR is on order.

So when you see a Red 1200 in SW London area, give us a wave:smile:

  2. Hi Hein, I looked at the KTM adventure before i got my triumph Sprint, was a huge bike even for me at 6'4, nice bike tho, sure you will enjoy multi

  3. Evening and welcome

  4. Errrr...that's because from a silencing perspective, it is. The slip on can is basically cosmetic, the noise reduction is done by the cat unit. You were aware of this, weren't you?

I hope you have understanding neighbours once that decat goes on!

  5. If you're in SW London, you might care to visit the Ship Inn, Jews Road, Wandsworth SW18 1TB (off Wandsworth roundabout) on any second Wednesday of the month (e.g. 8 August) from 7.00pm onwards. Always a varied bunch of Ducatis there. No charge, except for drinks.

  6. Hi Hein
Welcome to the forum and wish you well with the Ducati....it's an awesome bike!

To pete...hope you don't mind, but I am sort of inviting myself....so will pop in on the 8th!
