Who has got one? Reason I ask is that I have one, bought for the 900 SS, and I am very pleased with it. I know there is an adaptor kit for the new 950, so how does it attach to the bike? Thanks S23
The same as all other bikes, into the swinging arm attachments. I have the kit for the 939 Supersport including the rear axle spindle here. Would offer it for free but the postage and duty would probably be more expensive than you ordering from Abba. The stand fits the same way to my BMW. https://wordpress.com/post/ducatistbike.wordpress.com/579
Hi Bob, thanks for reply but what is in the WordPress link? When I click on it, all I get is a load of guff trying to get me to sign up and buy a website off them. Cheers S23
As above - probably a socket that fits over your swingarm-pivot caps/whatever. I'd call ABBA and have a chat... Edit: Just saw your pic. It'll be a prong that 'enters' the swingarm pivots you're showing...
Hi Speedy, Videos here are pretty instructive. https://abbastands.co.uk/article.asp?topic=videos&aid=44
Just a lesson I learnt the hard way. The adapters can get stuck in the frame. If you don’t notice and remove the stand. During your next ride the vibes will kindly free it up and presto….you’ll need a new adapter kit! So always check the adapters have come out.
I have the Abba Skylift and part of the procedure for removing the bike is to detach the stand and put the adaptors into the box on my workbench. Never had them stuck in the bike. Does this link work? ducatistbike.wordpress.com/2018/12/10/abba-skylift-2/ It shows the Ducati on the skylift.
