Saw this ( and no it's not mine ). Practically new Pani 1199S with termi's for less than a new Base model!. Ducati 1199 Panigale S ABS Termignoni | eBay
It is a bargain but you really have to be careful and ask yourself is it too good to be true. It's worth a look but i would definitely be cautious when coming across anything that is worth a lot less than it actually should be.
It's always going to be 'buyer beware' but just thumbed through previous sale history and looks totally genuine.
I just got offered 15k for my 1199s from a dealer 2013 model with the same extras plus I have a tracker fitted. Bit low px price I thought.
Is this really a bargain? Seem about right price to me. its 2nd hand irrespective of mileage. Dealer will take it in and put 1-2k on top and sell it on. I was offered 9.5k for my 2012 ABS model with 7k. Now that seemed steep
I think if I walked into a dealer to buy that bike new with Termis on the best price with a bit of haggling I'd have to pay would be around the 21k mark, so even though this one has had someone else's sweaty arse on it for a mere 150 miles and there will be 1 previous owner on the log book would you really want to pay 5k more for a new one?. I paid 16k for mine with 1500 miles at the same age as a standard bike with no Termis or extras. There's still plenty of warranty on it, obviously the usual checks would be needed but if I was in the market for one, I'd be hot footing it round there.
I reckon its about fair price privately.. would make a great buy for someone in the market for one and still has warranty...I would deffo look at it if I was in market for one
The tri color on mcn at 14750 with low miles I thought looked a brilliant buy. Insurance was loads more than a base model otherwise I'd of had a look at it
its about what there worth my px prices were 12k-14k , don't believe what the salesman say and they hold their value, they don't,
The 1199R looses the same amount as the 1199S, the 1098R used to hold their value much better than the 1098S models. You are going to take a hit of around 6k - 7k from new after 2 years. That's the problem perhaps with high priced new bikes, cars are the same presumably. Only lost 2.5k on my 848 after 3.5 years which I did not think was to bad.
It's not much more than loosing the vat , same on most stuff only bad if dont use it , ride it get money's worth . Like people who put seat covers on new cars only person to benefit is the dealer when re selling and new buyer . Fuk that .
ducati panigale s 1199 | eBay This shows that it may be current market value - less than £15k, less than 1000 miles...
