Tues 23rd April, The Ace café has a Benefit Gig for 'Strummerville' a charity set up via the Joe Strummer estate for young musicians. One of the bands is The Bermondsey Joyriders, a Punk/Oi band who I saw a couple of years ago and are v entertaining. The singer/guitarist/composer Gary Lammer used to be in Cocksparrer back in the day. Might go if I can talk the other half into it. Should be a good night for a good cause(free entry).
