Advice On Alarmed Disc Lock

  1. hello
can anyone share suggestions for a good reliable alarmed disc lock? I was considering XENA XX10 but a lot of online reviewers thrash it, and say it goes off all the time with false alarms.

    thank you!

  2. Don't get one, buy a Roadlock XRA jobbie.

(Put SUMMER20 in the discount page at checkout)

  3. thanks but how is this more effective?

  4. I've got one of these, from Abus - never once had a false alarm, and it feels a quality piece of kit..

  5. Thanks. How/where do you store it?

  6. yeah, it is quite chunky, and theres no room for it under my seat, so it goes in the rucksack when I'm out and about.

  7. Take a look at there youtube videos, they stop any movement so no accidental fowling disc or falling over scenarios!

  8. I've thought about getting one of those, but they're no good for using as a padlock on those secure motorcycle stands in car parks.

  9. Roadlok really is the best disc lock ever.... Got em on all 3 of my bikes....

  10. I got myself an Oxford BOSS Alarmed disk lock. I've got no complaints about this... not had any false alarms unlike my Xena lock I had previously. It is a bit more chunky but it still fits in my jacket pocket if not carrying a rucksack.
