Hi guys, Am new to the forum and am hoping for a little advice, please. I am considering selling my Sport 1000 Classic within the next few weeks. As you know, these bikes are very rare to come by and they seriously hold their value. As a result, it's not easy, as it is with other bikes, to put an accurate value on them. I have found that iconic bikes like the Sport 1000 Classic are worth however much somebody wants to pay for them. My question is - how much could I realistically expect from a private sale? It's a 2006 model with a very low mileage of only 3,200. FULL main dealer Ducati service history. Its next service interval is due in about 750 miles. I have every piece of paperwork for the bike, including manuals, booklets, sales literature, invoices, MOTs etc, etc. It has just passed its MOT with no advisories. Bike has the following extras, and I also have all the original parts which would be included if I did decide to sell it: - Keihan twin stainless steel exhaust system - Wrapped headers - ABM fully adjustable clip ons - Crash bungs The bike is in absolutely immaculate condition. I know this is an overused phrase but it really has been cherished and meticulously looked after, and kept in a heated room throughout the winter - these bikes deserve nothing less. I will upload photos in the next few days. Any advice with regards to how much I should realistically expect would be much appreciated. Thanks, guys. Ashley.
