Advice On Selling/ Buying House

Discussion in 'Lounge' started by jack999s, Jun 28, 2018.

  1. Just looking for advice on what options i have,

Im thinking about selling my house and buying another but dont want to be stuck with having to rent etc, Is it pretty straight forward to go the bridging loan route and buy new house first then sell up extsisting house and then pay of the bridging loan?? will it cost a fortune if say it took 6month or more to sell my house and settle the loan?? Ide like to just shift from one house to another with as little hassle as possible,
Any advice is appreciated, If you prefer to PM thats fine

    Cheers Jack

  2. Holy crap think i will avoid the bridging loan option, I did look earlier but all the ones i looked at wanted all my details/ mobile number etc,

Think i will have to come up with another plan and look more into the best way to go, Looks like only option is sell first,

    Cheers for that

  5. Pix against a new build is the only assured way.

When we did ours, we sold first. If you get stuck, you can always find a rental for 6m while you search for the right home. Also puts you in a much stronger buying position.
