Spain 2007 - an album on Flickr Spain 2011 edited highlights - an album on Flickr Here's one I remember: From France try the D294 from Lagnos east to the D934, turn right south into Spain where it becomes the A-136 turm left at Biescas onto the D260a. Don't forget the French police can ban you from riding if they catch you really taking the piss speeding eg 110 mph plus... Have a great time!
Yes no problem. I would not leave finding a hotel too late in the day. It is fairly sparsely populated. Then again in June it is light till late so you are unlikely to be riding for miles in the dark trying to find a hotel...
I've been every year sonce 2004 so have seen most of the area. The 260 and 230 are the feature roads but there are some other Gems to be found. Lots of lovely places to stay, with Llavorsi being my current fav and have had a go at the white water rafting there which is a blast. The roads around Arreau, Bagnerres and down to Lllavorsi and Sort are epic. Broto is also excellent on the 260 and we had an epic day doing the Via Ferrata there. We usually do a mickey take vid which shows some of the cols etc if you want a look.
