Hi there, as from my previous HP4 I had a USB connector mounted in order to use my Iphone as Navsystem, I would like to know if anyone could give an advice on where to plug in the power. As the battery is now located below the ignition key it might work directly? On my HP4 I used the front lights as source, as other possibilities were complicated and I couldn't get to work the connector with 0.0V when bike is off. Thanks for your ideas and input.
Does the bike not come with a USB charger under the seat? My Supersport has and my wifes new Monster 821 has. If it does then just a USB extension cable would work for you.
Does the Supersport have the battery under the seat, too? As the V4 has the fuel tank under the seat, I kind of doubt it can be found there. Unfortunately the 360 pages Manual doesn't say anything about that. My HP4 had a USB Connector too, but only allowed BMW approved accessories to connect. If it wasn't BM;W stuff, then the CAN-BUS (sorry - dunno the English word for that) denies connection. Hence I used the front light.
