Advice Please Looking At 748 S Mono

Link doesn’t work.

If it’s the one in Wickford ending very soon I’ve seen it in the flesh and it’s a decent bike. I know the mechanic who recommissioned it and he knows his stuff.

 

So.... did you win?!

 

It was at £6k for a day or so and ended at £6300. Let’s see if our friend got lucky.

 

I wouldn’t feel too bad, it’s not a genuine mono anyways. You can see the rear hangers sticking out on the subframe like my pic below

 

Didn’t the V5 say mono?

 

yes

 

V5 does but V5’s only reflect what was input by DVLA Which can be random at the best.

I stand open to correction but I though genuine mono’s came with the aluminium subframes and had no provision for rear pegs. You could order the bike with a mono seat unit which was bolted to the standard subframe as most people do, but that still didn’t make it a genuine factory mono.

Again only from info gleaned if here so fully open to correction.
