Can anyone with 2019 build V4S enlighten me if the main recall issues were sorted and rolled out from the factory. Or are people still having recalls on the later bikes. I know 2018 builds were troublesome with lots of people complaining about recalls and time spent in the dealers being looked at or worked on for certain issues. Potentially looking at 2019 Corse model with low miles. Was hoping the later bikes were pretty much sorted now?
Mine has been faultless, got it in July and it's done 1800 miles now, most on track. I know mine came from the factory with all of the upgrades and recalls done on the production line so I don't think there will be any other suprises....I hope!
Ask for the VIN and put in here, https://www.ducati.com/gb/en/service-maintenance/recall-campaign. That will tell you if there any outstanding recalls on that particular bike. Andy
Fantastic.... Thanks will pump the number in tomorrow and see what it comes up with hopefully all good
Recalls all carried out so checked out ok, apparently had fuel filler cap and some software updates and that was it. It does have an Akrapovic half system and was told no mapping is required. Thought even the half systems on the V2’s came with sprint filter and up-map key? Having not ridden the V4 I’m going to swing my leg over it tomorrow and make a decision. Just such a shame it’s going to be so cold with very little grip
ive got a 2018 v4s and 2400 miles in now and is problem free. had usual tank cap done and I guess software upgrades in services. All good.
Recalls on factory orders will not be an issue. On bikes sat around they often get sorted by the dealers prior to collection
