V2 Aftermarket Levers For Panigale V2

Discussion in 'Panigale' started by Veetoo, Sep 4, 2020.

  1. I'm looking to get some replacement levers for my V2 - I bent one and would like adjustable ones anyway so good excuse to get some new ones.

Any suggestions on ones to get or avoid?

I'm a bit concerned about an after market clutch lever being an issue with the quickshifter.

  2. Should have said, so long as the lever you use has the pin to operate the micro switch mounted on the handlebar mount for the lever, you’ll be fine. Andy

  5. ASV are good, just depends what you want to spend. Worth bearing in mind Chinese levers will typically be made of cheap Chinese alloy. I’ve had Evotech and they’re fine, you need to butcher your OEM levers to reuse the plunger on those and many others, ASV comes with their own plunger so fitting is more straightforward and they feel as quality as a 200 quid pair of levers should

  11. I've fitted these https://conquestracingltd.com/produ...2-adjustable-folding-brake-clutch-levers-gp2/

I had the Evotech ones, and whilst they work fine on my Blade with a cable clutch I don't like the feel on the Ducatis hydraulic clutch.

As the pivot point on the master cylinder is a good distance from the bar, the lever travel shortens as its pulled closer. You don't feel this with a cable clutch as the pivot point is much closer.

It felt like I had shorty lever which I don't like. These aren't as bad but still not as long as the OEM levers.
