Aftermarket Rear Shock Vs Termi System

  1. Does anyone know if theres any issues fitting either an Ohlins or Nitron shock to an 848 evo with a full Termi slash cut system? Was looking a used Nitron R2 for an 848 but was given the impression by someone that it wont fit with the Termi headers....

  2. I had a full system on my 848 and fitted a 1098S Ohlins shock with no clearance issues.

  4. Spoke to Nitron today and they confirmed there shocks wont fit with Termi headers

  5. Absolutely amazed. What’s the point of building a shock that doesn’t fit as oem?!

    Go ohlins :upyeah:

  6. Yeah i was surprised, its pretty common to have a Termi system on a Ducati 848-1198 especially if your race them, so Nitron have ruled themselves out of the market for a lot of bikes! I know of a freshly rebuilt Ohlins removed from a 1198s for sale at £450 with a new 85nm spring looks like new, not sure if it will be much better than the stock Showa though...
