After a new Playstation arrived in our house (not mine!) I thought I would buy a MotoGP game for it. Now I am not a games person but I thought it would be a bit of fun to have at least one game I could enjoy. So having bought the new MotoGP game I sat down to have a go...well after an age of 'stuff' to get through you finally have to set up your player before you can start including their age. Well it only goes up to 45!...that's your maximum. So I guess I have been retired (or lie about my age). After all this you finally get to have a go and it is damn near impossible to even steer in a straight line or go round a corner...all my kids beat me easily. So think I will actually just go out on my bike instead...if only all the roads weren't shut for a load of blokes in lycra.
I done the same thing, bought an XBOX 360 for the kids a few years ago, with the intention of playing Motogp so I could learn the tracks (I do a few trackdays). When I eventually got it all sorted I couldn't even get the bike to go in a straight line, gave up and have never been on since, age does count sometimes.
My Evel died in a huge fireball. Unfortunately so did the curtains, so my arse was like a fireball for some time after, too Strange the things you remember from your childhood...
