Air bypass screws

  1. Hi
Having trouble with the mutly stalling, I have been advised to turn slightly the air bypass screws on the throttle body!!!! I ain't got a clue where these are. Does any one have an idea where or even better have a picture. Thanks. Paul.

  2. They are two brass coloured screws one for each cylinder, located on the throttle bodys. They look like a cross head screw. If you look from the right side of the bike (ie timing belt side) you can see them through the frame spars. They shouldn't need much more than a 1/4 turn or so. I would try adjusting the rear cylinder 1st and see if that cures your problem. Sorry don't have any pics im at my office desk.

  4. With the engine warm and ticking over, adjust the screws slowly until you get the highest idle you can. Then drop the idle speed back down to normal and you should be good to go :upyeah:

  5. Hi
Managed to find the one on the right of the bike, any ideas to where the other one is. I have looked
in the same place on the left but can't find anything that looks similar. Thanks again. Paul.

  6. You can see them both from the right, one for the rear cylinder and one for the front, I think the front one is a little harder to see from memory..?
