I've a question. Does the standard air filter look like a K&N, but yellow'ish? The one I've just removed looks like a fabric, with a metal supporting mesh, like a DNA or K&N, however it's not covered in Oil. I'm wondering has the previous owner fitterd a high performance (flow) air filter but not oiled it...or are all standard air filters made that way... As always I await the knowledge of the assembled great unwashed.
