I gave a pair away to a guy on here last year, thought he was pleased to only pay the postage costs, understand now, thought they would only be £20. I wish. '03 MY, 05 reg, BP, 1 previous owner, 6k mls, needs a good service and some TLC. Did come with Galfer front discs which was a nice surprise when I saw what they cost.
Apparently there is no Haynes manual :Bag::Banghead::Nailbiting::Nailbiting::Nailbiting::Nailbiting::Nailbiting::Nailbiting::Nailbiting::Nailbiting::Nailbiting:
Although a new thread headed - I bought a 999 would suffice for all questions going forward - it would be like a diary for the future (instead of millions of separate posts - it has started) :Bag:
Air filters for 999. If these really were changed per the last bill I got, then they have done about 3'500 dry miles. How likely do you think that is?
No. Just accumulating some evidence against the people who purport to service my bike. I was just interested to know how many dry miles people might think it would take to get air filters in that sort of condition.
I bought some DNA air filters, these can be cleaned with the kit provided and they have a lifetime warranty. Fitted very well.
