Hopefully few extra ponies for free I seen the cut out thread on here, n thought I wanna force that air directly in there we will see ...i was planning on adding a 3d printed design to sit under the nose cone maybe later ..
Can't get any worse than the flat spot you have as standard at bottom end , but no I don't have a flat spot I use a procom that alters the air temp so It rolls on nice ...it's not bn on a dyno as yet though so can only go by feel ..I beleive them chambers are only for noise restriction I'm not 100% I only know what I read .lol
https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s40430-019-1566-5 Looks like they are indeed primarily designed to adjust noise.
Tried to read that about the holtzy thingymebob…..but fucking hell its a bit boring and I'm a bit pis'd!
Not splitting hairs, but reading the article their primary use is/was to maximise intake-mass charge through natural-frequency resonance to match intake frequency. Looks like this is now not primary use - it's noise reduction. Interesting - a good example of a Helmholz resonator in use is the air cavity (inside body) of an acoustic guitar. /end nerd/
