Who's been...? Italy is probably our favourite destination. So apart from the usuals, Sicily, Sorrento , Capris we chose Alghero this yr. Like most ppl we like the odd bit of fine dining but doesnt have to bea ll like that. Anyone any nice eateries you'd recommend or anything we could miss out on, local knowledge etc? cheers.
Never been to Sardinia, but it's on the list. We prefer the south of Italy to the north but I think some of that comes from the fact my parents came from the south. That said one of my favourite places is Umbria. Very Tuscany like but cheaper.
