All Cleaned And Ready For Winter...

  1. Looks like Covid and the winter fast approaching means no more biking for a while.
So after a last 130 mile ride the bike is cleaned and oiled ready for hibernation.

  2. I'm looking at fitted an Akrapovic & Cat link pipe to my 1200s Monster next year. How do you find it? More power? Louder than stock? Have you done anything mapping wise for it ??

  3. Think I’ll coat my two tomorrow in AC50, as I want to use the scrambler (at least) over winter.

  4. I've been super pleased with it. I feel it's a cleaner look than the double stack Termi's. It's certainly smoother and has even more mid range, much louder than stock, I wouldnt want to use it without the baffles. It has a nice growl to it. Not remapped, runs perfectly.

  5. Business as usual.....have to go into the office for an hour or so....taking the hyper....i dont do rain but otherwise, why not...winter usage goes down but IMO its better to keep the engine turned over....getting RSV4 ready for MOT tonight for tomorrow (take the strip plate off and put the normal indicators back on)....used the z1000 for work last week....even if i take it out on a day when the ground is wet....half hour in the garage to clean it up...(can have the entire exhaust and belly pan off the zed in 5 mins....) easy to clean the engine then....

  6. ;) nice bin shot

  7. Did you fit the link pipe with the cat fitted in it? I agree about it looking better than the Termi's plus even with the link pipe fitted with the cat it's still about £500 cheaper

  8. I’ve just spent the past hour and a half applying acf50 to the scrambler as that’ll be the bike that’ll be used over winter.

  9. If it's like mine the cat is in the silencer.
