It arrived next day. Report on water resistance to follow. My missus says £40 worth not £100...but then she's a perennial student.
I'd be interested in your thoughts as I am looking for a new waterproof jacket to go over my leathers.
I've had one of these jackets for a while and I've been really pleased with it. The stretch fabric means it fits well over my leathers and doesn't restrict movement at all. As mentioned it's probably more showerproof than waterproof but the windproof effect also seems to keep the cold out, which is a bonus. As it packs down relatively small it's a great "emergency" waterproof. I used it as my only waterproof layer on a recent European trip and it did the job well. The only issue I had was, as I was travelling light, I didn't pack waterproof over-trousers and in heavier showers rain beaded on the jacket and then ran off onto my legs (but that was my own stupid fault for not carrying more kit!).
Mine does. Not by choice but its been monsooned on several times. I have a 2 piece Dainese waterproof suit which I can conform is 100% waterproof. I just wish my gloves were.
