Hi All Done most of them, Alps, Pyrenees, Dolomites, B500, and whilst I love the scenery and the occasion, I have never yet conquered the really tight twistys (I'm looking at you Stelvio and a couple of trashed fairing panels!!), especially going up, two up, with all the luggage. This year its off to WDW on the Multi and I was wondering what mode and suspension settings anyone had used to get over the really tight passes? Any help appreciated.
Did stelvio on the way to WDW two years ago, it was closed the day before due to snow! But open when we arrived, it's a great road but two up I suspect it won't be too great it's all hairpins and I was verging on no brakes on the way down without a pillion
I'll be honest and say I hated all the tight, narrow, twisty passes we did in the Alps last year with the Aprilia's :frown: What I really like are those wider, flowing roads with good visibility, good surface and not too much of a scary drop! I clipped mirrors with a local car who came round a corner on my side of the road, and I was close to going over the edge (with no crash barrier), I think this curbed my passion for Alpine passes somewhat...
Sport mode two up i.e. two heads on the loading screen no luggage works for me on a full circuit of the Lake District passes including Hardknott and Wrynose which are steep and narley and now almost parts off road with tarmac washout. Just get teh pillion to lean right forward
