Has anyone fitted the Pro Taper CR High 800mm wide handle bars to their Multstrada 1200 ? My track bike needs narrower handlebars for the transit pallet and I really don’t want to be messing with hacksawing stuff about. Andy
Ally bars? Think they are IIRC. B&Q, pick up a plumbers pipe cutting tool for copper pipes, easy to do and a neat cut with no filings and swarf getting thrown around.
Terry @El Toro, Viv @Ducbird, a satisfactory alternative has been found, so this thread can be closed, thank you. For future reference though, the (937cc) Monster/Monster+ handlebar is about 60mm narrower than the 1st gen 1200 Multistrada, it is the correct diameter, has the correct space for the clamp and has enough room to accommodate the grips, levers and switch gear. The rise is about the same but the rake angle gives a little more forward riding position. Not a problem for someone like me with long arms. Andy
