Has anyone found some soft panniers, or an alternative to the Ducati panniers, utilising the mounts that come with the bike?
It does not make sense from a business standpoint as It would be a limited after-market item and would not be adaptable to other makes and models.
You’re right. There’s companies that make them to fit the standard racks for the GS, but I guess that bike sells in bigger numbers.
It's not exactly the same, but Bumot looks pretty decent. If you want aluminum suitcases, I advise you to watch the video and the suitcases.
I know they ain’t super trendy but what’s wrong with the hard shell OEM (Givi) ones? They work pretty well.
Had those on my 2013 GT, they are massive, needed a "wide load" label on them, I ended up replacing the lids with standard pannier one's.
Got the nickname of “son of wardrobe man” whilst touring with some friends. Apparently they used to tour with a chap on a Gold Wing that got the nickname “wardrobe man” which is pretty self explanatory Andy
