Am i being stupid?

  1. Hi there folks.
This may be a dumb question but....
I'm after checking / tweaking the suspensions on my 1198.
I've sorted the front end, no snags, but the rebound adjuster on the rear is giving me problems.
There seems to be no obvious way of adjustment. The adjuster doesn't seem to be a flat head or allen key type, in fact to me it seems just to be a round hole. Has the adjustment screw disappeared? Its not made easier by the fact the location is tricky to see, but it's got me stumped....
    It's a standard 1198, 2011 model, Showa equipped.

If I'm being a Muppet I'll stand by waiting for ridicule....

    Thanks!
    Ian.

  2. Check your owners manual or download it from ducati.com

  3. It just suggests the standard settings. The fact that the forks needed a flat head and the comp' damping on the rear needed the same leads me to believe theres a snag. There just seems to be a hole - that no allen key or screwdriver will fit.

  4. On 999 showa the comp and rebound are 3mm allen screws LHS top and bottom

  5. 3mm allen key it is!
    Thanks muchly!
