I don't know about military weapons but Obama's threat to restrict gun ownership in the US has delivered a colossal surge in the sale of civilian firearms. Getting hold of anything firearms related that is of American manufacture has been difficult outside the US for a good while now. Domestic manufacturers of guns and ammunition are snowed under with billions of dollars worth of back orders as American shooters rush to stock up ahead of any legislation. Not as easy as you thought, this politics lark, is it Mr O?
