  1. Just booked the said event with Focused Events, £259 for four days, a few of the South West massive will be attending, last Hurrah of 2016. :sunglasses:

  2. I saw that. Bargain!

  3. Hopefully they have built some run offs on the trickier bits by the tme you get there. Have a great time and beware the track doctor, he's a nice bloke but has this belief he can cure all your ills with an injection - in the cheek of your arse, and I speak from experience :Bawling:. Andy

  4. Last time I saw Almeria Circuit was through the back doors of an ambulance with a drip in one arm and a cast on the other, on route to a lovely Spanish hospital for a little lie down. Hopefully this return trip will end better for me and the bike. :sunglasses::italy:

  8. I can get away once in the year for a few days to the IOM - thats it....and even then im made to pay for it for a full year in verbal jabs throughout....apart from that the odd made it this year once to loomies and once to the kawasaki day at silverstone...

  9. The third European event of the year, and third different country, the wife's not complaining as she is always happy to tag along.

  10. Shit - if i so much as mention the word bike i get told to fuck off cos im boring....

  11. More fish in the sea Comfy old fella. :grinning:

  12. Double edged sword....she lets me have them...i say them...got 4 at the moment....she puts up with a fair bit...

  13. Bugger that Comfy. I sometimes have arguments trying to book more than one or two in a month but that's usually because she can't get out of work to ride as well haha :)

  14. Wise guys realise.....:tearsofjoy:

  15. Im guessing youve not got kids....it cost me 220 quid the other day to have 2 rabbits castrated....one was contantly trying to fuck the other ones head (i think he was still learning as they become "active" at 6 weeks old) part of that cost was the vets saying "we need to check their droppings because theyre a bit small (the rabbits)" so - it cost me 40 quid for the vets to tell me they were ok....i seriously fucking hate vets....pardon the pun theyve got you by the fucking balls and can charge whatever they want...

Sorry op about the...err...thread wandering a little....

  16. Fair one mate, my brother and sister have kids and it puts my world and it's toys into perspective that's for sure. Big respect to anyone who does all that as it looks damn hard (and expensive) work.

  17. You lot should find a wife who has her own bike and them move to a country where the weather is better and there are no MOTs or road tax on bikes. That way you ride when and where you want for as long as you want with the wife on her bike behind you.

  18. Im not pushing the fact that theyre a burden or anything like (i couldnt be without them) that but as much as i would so love to do a track day (of any sort, anywhere) ive gotta weigh in the fact that the kids get the priority....the only reason i can get away to the TT is that the whole shooting match for 4 days away only costs about 400 odd quid as we stay at my mates house...

  19. While she used to love being on the back of my bike 20 odd years ago she wouldnt even entertain it now as if we're both on it and get in an accident then we're both out of action (going back to the kids thing...)

  20. Feel the same about f'ing solicitors... C*nts!
