    While racing goes on at Brands Hatch, the sad news from Moscow is that Andrea Antonelli has passed away, thoughts are with his family.

  3. I thought as much after the cancellation, didn't look good did it, is a sad thing when someone loses their life, even when doing what they love, RIP and condolences to his friends/family :frown:

  8. R.I.P...... but why does it have to result in a death before they realise its too dangerous to race, i know its a risk they all take but surely the officials shouldve realised before that.

  11. It was pouring down and the spray was horrendous it should have been stopped.
    All you saw was a body sliding over to the grass not nice.....

  15. It did look terminal as soon as I saw it. Conditions were bad but it's racing and Macro S died in far better conditions so it could happen any time, it's always a risk.

    Bad news, luckily also quite rare.

    MotoGP will have a minute silence before the race today.
