Having a new set of Angel GT2 tyres fitted to my 2016 Multistrada I emailed Pirelli and asked what pressures they recommended, they replied with 39psi both front and rear which as some of you know is different to what Ducati say on the little sticker. Going with what Pirelli say.
I run Metzeler MT01s and M7RRs at 2.6 to 2.7 bar which is about 39 psi. IME, you will know soon enough if the pressure is about right from the tyre wear and how the bike feels on the road. Had Angel GTs for a short while but bought the wrong size, 190/50, and had a better deal on the Metzelers when I changed. Andy
I've been running my GT2's as per Ducati recommendation, ride and tyre wear have been excellent both solo and 2 up, mileage is far better than I've been able to achieve with Michelin PR4's or Road 5's.
I am very interested to hear how you experience these GT2 over time. Grip and wear Feel free to bring some pictures too. I will most likely buy them next time, but i am very tempted to try them on my HYM 1100 Evo SP as well. Maybe not as "rock and roll" as Rosso 3 We'll see ?
Run them stock & drop psi here & there. I had them on a crossrunner 800, in the rain, grip was superb, even at decent lean. Great rubber imo. I liked their feel in the dry too obviously
^^^^ 100% There's a range but no right number. Try different pressures and see what you like best. Documenting the changes is key.
