Does anyone know what purpose of the plastic bits on the frame are, apart from looking pretty, and can you remove them? The corner of the left hand one got caught on the flexible part of my brand new Rukka trousers and made a hole! It's not tight to the frame and sticks up a bit. So, if they are to protect the frame they do a good job of destroying clothing! I'm going either remove them or use some Sugru to round off the tips, and double sided to hold it flatter.
Strangely I've not rode my new dvt but sitting on it Making Broom Broom noises when I attempted to get off i caught my trousers in the same place. Good luck removing them ! The fixing bolt is on the inside of the frame and a bitch to access without major work. Tiger seal the gap would be my recommendation.
