My 939sp is coming up to its first annual service and just wondered if anyone on here has had one done yet and how much should I expect to pay?
Oil change? do it yourself...will take about a half hour...keep the receipt for the oil and filter and mark down the mileage on the receipt. That way a future buyer of the bikes knows whats been added, what quality and when.
That would void the warranty wouldn't it? I had mine serviced at the stealers for the first 2 years till the warranty was up now do it myself. My last one there was £90
Good call. I must confess im a bit more "steam in and do it yourself..." I got my z1000 at 9 months old with a year and a bit on the warranty and tore it apart as soon as i got home with it....ive not had a single issue with it since....but thats just me though...i did actually speak to Kawasaki when i transferred the warranty, told them what i was doing and they were ok with it but understandably wouldnt warranty anything that id messed with....
