Anodised Parts!

  1. Guys, I need to get my rearsets re anodised, my question is, how do I get the old anodising off? Cheers

  2. Put the part in a solution of Sodium Hydroxide will take off anodising.You have to keep on eye on the process though,and the strength of the solution has to be right.I believe there are tutorials on line.

  3. I used to use mr muscle oven cleaner.

  4. If you have access, use TIG welders pickle paste. The stuff used for cleaning the welds up. If you get stuck, pop over and we’ll do them here. Doesn’t take more then 5 mins.
