Another comeback! BEARS racing here I come

  1. Tonight I bought myself an 848 that has been campaigned in the BEARS F2 Championship here in Aus, winning this years title. A rather tasty machine with a boat load of extras and to say I'm stoked would be a massive understatement. Looks are not unlike like Larry Pegram's beastie here

So next year I'll be racing at Eastern Creek, Phillip Island and a few others ... it's always been a dream of mine to race at Phillip Island, I can't wait!

    Wooooohooooo!

  2. Sounds like fun.

    Good luck with it Tony.

  3. Nice, liking the forks

Tp on a racing subject, didn't we have another bet on the motogp outcome (riders for health) ?

    And you lost

  4. Looks very nice! Good luck for next year. And keep the pics coming!

  5. Show off

  6. Racing bears is easy, you can lap them while they take a shit in the woods. Same goes for the Pope

    Good luck :upyeah:.

  7. £8K in them forks..

    Pics man, pics!

  8. Great TP now we can pitch in with advice, look where it got Terry Tibbs.
First off have you got a tyre warmer ....

  9. Yeahhh have fun :)

  10. Good luck and have fun. Oh, and I'm busy next year.

  11. Very, very nice...:upyeah:

  12. I thought "Bears" were big, fat, hairy, gay blokes who like riding Harley Davidsons

  13. Very nice and loving the paint scheme

  14. Jammy fooker! :upyeah:

  15. Well, unfortunately I don't have the gas forks like Larry did .. mine are the Showa's with 30mm Ohlins Cartridges in them. And a ttx shock ... the bike really has a load of stuff done to it, it's a complete bargain and I still can't believe how lucky I was to get it so cheap!

Re: the bet - probably! How much do I owe RFH?

I genuinely laughed out loud at that one!

Patience grasshopper - I was too excited to take any when I went and looked at it, despite having my camera in my pocket! Hardly a poker faced moment...

Now that was an interesting thread ... Lougi's a top bloke, he'll sort Mr Tibbs out. I'm leaving my Louigi Moto logos on my leathers for next season, the guy is a legend and a true enthusiast/Ducatisti

Gilps! We're a winning team! Get some flights sorted and we'll get the band back together

Are you calling me fat?

Cheers but mine is mainly red with white. I'm thinking matte black.. To be honest racing is so expensive here, compared to the UK, that I can't see me spending money on paint. She's a racebike and will be treated like the dirty ho that she is

As soon as I have some pics I'll stick them up. First track day is at Eastern Creek on Dec 14 - BOOYAH!

The forks are different and the paint job isn't the same. you could've posted up any 848!

Still it'll look nice with the forged March's and Leo system

Good on ya' hope you do very well :upyeah:

  17. Good luck with that Tony!
