Hello there all :wink: Just popping in to say hello after purchasing a 749 model. Been reading all the bits on the forum since so thought i'd be polite and join you lot proper. Brought the bike last month and so far so good and happy with my choice. Just getting use to the corner speed and the way of riding a twin compared to a four cylinder. Previous bikes as follows GSXR1000 k8, ZX10R 04, Z1000, cbr1000rr, Hayabusa, Zx6r, ZZR600, Honda CB750, Z500, Benley 125, last of all a Superdream 125. Just a few bikes in all of 15 years of riding. Will post some pics once sorted out how to do it. Fancied a Ducati as im getting older and decided I need the finer things in life to cheer me up and have a toy to play with spend some cash on getting her back to a tidy state. Ta hyabusa47 :wink:
Welcome and thats a nice bike. Ive often been tempted by a 749 to replace my Zx7r, but it would be cruel to ride one in the winter.
That's why as you get older u think ummmmm a car for the winter..........done my time riding in snow and ice and yes it improves your skill you end up f in freezing...so I got a car for the winter, note not the rain and for the kids as well.
