Hi there, another Duchy is present. Always looking for good information so I came across this forum. I'm Niels a 41 yr old Dutch guy from the North of the Netherlands loving fast cars en fast bikes. I started with Ducati's quite late since I thought the two cilinder engine was not my thing after an unsuccessful relationship with a Suzi TL1000S. After that bike I started all over with a '91 Suzuki GSXR750, a bike it all started with about 20 yrs ago. Since the purchase of a 1st generation 916 in 2015, the boys dream of 20 yrs ago I'm quite hooked. Since then I bought an '03 999S, an '04 Monster S4R and a '95 748SP. I sold the S4R after just a few months since in my opinion the engine does not match the bikes character imho. The 916 Strada is in nice running condition but I'm planning to restore it to original condition with some SP -and period correct options. The 748 needs some changed details as well to get it back in to the state which I want but is with just 10000mls in good and healthy condition. For a future project I also have an '02 748R frame which came of a bike broken into parts before I could buy it unfortunately. So plans enough only zero time at the moment due to kids and a house to finish... Some pics:
