Not sure if anyone subscribes to, or watches any videos from 'The Missenden Flyer' but he's put up a nice review/fitting guide of himself installing one of my screen protector kits to his 899. Check it out here...
I have watched his stuff, sounds like they are getting a good review, well done Have u seen his video where he has picked up the 899 but hasn't had the ventureshield so he has covered all the leading edges with masking tape?? A little extreme but does the job I guess!!
I'm by no way knocking the product or the fact you get off your backside and open a business. But I can't see how you could scratch the screen on a Panigale? They are tucked so far back that's it's never going to be touched accidentally and more to point you've no reason to touch it with your hand as its not touchscreen like a phone. Am I missing something?
Well someone managed to scratch my 1199 dash slightly before I bought it. Not badly by any stretch, but enough to annoy me. I have no idea how, I think people wiping the screen with their gloves is probably the most common way of marking them. Oh, and the anti-glare protectors offer more than just anti-scratch properties too [emoji6]
I've no doubt that they can be scratched as I've seen the video above. But like I said I just can't understand how they would be scratched within the normal use of a bike and with a slight amount of common sense I.e not wiping a screen with a dirty glove is something I'd never do as its obvious it'll scratch and how on earth could the screen be dirty enough to need wiping anyway.
I'm developing protectors for the Multistrada, Monster and Hypermotard too which are far more exposed and liable to scratching. Just made sense to start with the Pani as I owned one.
Please don't take my posts as critisim of your products as its not that st all. I agree other bikes are a bit more exposed.
No sure, I get it. Not everyone is going to feel the need to have a screen protector, let alone actually buy one!
