Got through mine on Tuesday too, no advisories. I took my HID out and noticed when doing so that I was dazzling all in coming traffic with poorly aimed lights.
I swap my small ish plate for a legal one, but, I leave my hid, race termi, no indicators, no front side light. Straight through MOT
Tee-hee.........My number plate and digits are a bit undersize, but it has got the correct BS number etc etc on it.......Never have to change it, never queried. My headlight is a bit high, but that's because I didn't have time to check it after changing it, however the tester just said 'I know you will adjust it, now that you have seen it'....... And my zorsts are acceptable, even though the manufacturer states they weren't homolgated (whatever that means....sounds like something to do with yoghourt to me) .......can't complain at that, really. AL
Back to the single........but I adjusted it while it was still light so it didn't show up too well on my homemade dip beam level gauge (Two marks on the shed door and one on the path).
I got an advisory on slight play in the lower shock mount. Can the bush be changed, or will i need a new shock next year?
My Tester said the same re the lower shock mount, said there was bearing that could be changed. He also said that it was good job the the bike had a dry clutch ( ie very noisy) otherwise he would be able to hear the rather loud exhausts !!
