Kevin Pietersen, who's he?
Love a good game of cricket on the green with a pint of cidre - only been to a couple of one day internationals years ago so please pardon the blonde question how do I get tickets for the Aegas Bowl ?
Im off to Lords with the old man at the end of the month for one of the one dayers. In regard to our team, we (the ECB) need to completely rebuild. Keep two or three key older players like Cook and Prior and build the team around them using side with young fresh players and treat it like a 10 year plan. Yes we'd get a tanking for a few seasons but then the team would get stronger and better. This is what the Windies did back in the late 70s and 80s (Watch Fire in Babylon for the story) and they were bloody unstoppable. Our team is too old and too tired at the moment
Such a pity the Windies are now so dire. Imagine what Test cricket would be like with a stonking Windies team like in the 70s.
