Yes, 4 x 12V / 55w H11 Halogen bulbs Osram.........the best, but you pay for the quality ;-) eBay is one source but could be better prices from bulb / auto lighting specialists.
I use Osram Night Breaker Plus H11 bulbs from Powerbulbs.com. Good service and quick, the Osrams are much better than the OE bulbs BUT beware they do have a shorter life span (about 6 - 8 months in my case) so carry a spare on long trips. Found that out when both dipped bulbs went out in the space of 24 hours when in France!
I was looking for those today sadly they didn't have but in eBay they do. I had those on my R1 they worked perfectly. thanks it's confirmed.
That can't be right, a 'premium' product from the top (probably) bulb manufacturer in the world has a ridiculously short lifespan??!! (a) You should take that up with Osram (b) You should maybe get an electrical test done on the bike to ensure there's not a fault (e.g. bad earth?)
My original replacement bulbs were 1st Generation Night Breakers they are now on the "Next Generation" Up to 50% longer lifetime*. Improved light quality is not the only benefit of OSRAM’s latest headlight bulb. NIGHT BREAKER® PLUS is extremely durable and has a 50% longer lifetime*. It also features gold contacts (H4 & H7 types only) which underline its premium quality. OSRAM NIGHT BREAKER® PLUS is suitable for any make or model of car where a halogen headlight bulb is already in existence. NIGHT BREAKER® PLUS are like for like replacements of standard halogen headlight bulbs and are available in many headlight bulb types, H1, H3, H4, H7, H11, HB3 and HB4. There is no need for any additional components required to make a replacement. Remove your existing halogen headlight bulb and replace it with the same type NIGHT BREAKER® PLUS bulb…it’s as simple as that. * compared with first generation NIGHT BREAKER® The 1st Generation came with a number of hours useage listed - cant remember what it was - and I worked it out that on my usage (bike running time and my mileage) that it was about right. Hopefully these "next Generation" ones will last longer - 50% more at least! I will still carry a spare however.
