I'm torn. The plain red doesn't do it for me on a 899. I love them with a splash of white like yours simmy and I love the article white too but I've got a white monster and always said a super bike should be red. Think I'm waiting to see if they sort out the reliability over this summer, let prices come down a bit and then look for a slightly used white one to sit alongside my 848. However I'm changing my mind daily. Here's a wierd one, I can insure a 1199SL cheaper than a 1199s , and a normal 1199 is cheaper than a 899.

permission is harder to get than forgiveness they say . I actually reckon that if i could afford it ( i cant) i could buy any bike and she wouldn't notice as she never goes in garage , and if its red or under a cover she wont even realise its different anyway.
Im beginning to think you might not be true to your word...! Yeah....whilst I can immediately get away with smuggling anything into the garage or fitting to the bike - weve got a joint account so its there I come unstuck....plus on top of that just the ownership of 2 bikes corners me on any arguments eg.... "can you fix the kitchen tap, its leaking" "Can it wait?" "you've got 2 fucking bikes in the garage!" "yes dear." That's pretty well how most requests go in our house...in fact to get the second bike it was.... "Can I possibly get a second bike?" "Yup, but I want a new bathroom" "Yes dear...." To which followed 2 months of work, and a skip outside the house for that time and me being 5k lighter....and yes I did most of the work...
The plumbing is the one thing I didn't do...! which was ironically the largest amount of the cost...funny that!

My mate decided to change from his standard 749 to a carbon 749R, he told his wife he was taking his for a service. 8 hours later me and him get back and he proceeds to unload the 749R from the van, she never noticed a thing, BUT, his 6 year old did and let it be known !! I made a hasty retreat as things got a bit heated from then on !!!
