  1. Off to donnington today to see the new focus rs, mustang (again) and edge today.

I'm sure someone on here said he was interested in the mustang.

Any particular info you want or pics?

Must say its a horrid day for it and can't really be bothered now.

  2. Yeah, can always look at some pics of those beauties!

  3. Good chance that Bill Shepherd from Byfleet will be there then, hope it's not all rain.

  4. Mustang looks good in white

  6. I had a mustang, [IMG]

Absolutely hateful piece of appallingly engineered crap, it was fundamentally wrong in many ways. After 7 fords I can honestly say never ever again. Too many corners cut in places you can't see.

  8. I've got to say that if anyone has ordered a V8 they will love it. Awesome car and if I had the money to splurge I'd buy one.

  9. So you say it took seven cars before this realisation dawned on you. Oh well, better late than never.

  11. I do like Fords, just got Mrs Road trip a 64 reg Focus, she had the last focus 10 years and always reliable, would like an ST Focus one day.

Ive seen all the new Fords driving about for a while now as i live just up the road from the Fords Dunton research centre, you get to see many new cars around with all the anti camera flash stickers on them.

There was talk a couple of years ago about a new Capri coming out.

  12. also like the RS200 but impractical as a road car and early ones ate clutches due to nature of clutch (like an on/off switch) and tall first. Excellent in rallycross but I always thought what a waste. Any Cosworth cars were fun - liked the RS1800 particularly and would own many early Mustangs at the drop of a hat.

  13. RS500 anyone?

  14. I have been a Ford fan since I learnt to drive, I built an Anglia with a lotus twin cam engine, cortina rear axle and classic front suspension giving negative camber, also had a mk 1 lotus cortina,, numerous 3litre Capri,s, two Sierra Cornworth,s one with 380 bhp, one escorts rs turbo and a couple of Focus,s.a few other makes along the way.Now I have no car at all just the bikes and my van.

  17. I have a crew cab Vivario which i brought Jan 2011, it was a pre reg Dec 2010 with 1 mile on it, now on 59k,
I've done 16k miles of that on Holidays in France/Spain/Italy/Swiss, great van and very comfy,

Problem is I'm not VAT reg so it hits hard on a new one.
Great view side of your house,

  18. Going of topic a bit but this is the view from the front of the house last winter.

  19. Oh yes! I gave list price in 1986 (plus a monkey to sales manager @ main dealer to jump the queue!) for a white Cossie (not 500) and it got nicked and torched 3 weeks later so I did the only sensible thing - bought a moonstone RS500 (rare colour for a 500).Had 3 hatchbacks and 4 sapphire cissies but only the 2 WD.Last one was a Dick Bennet (mad Aussie touring car legend) engined car that had just under 640bhp on the rolling road! Very close to undrivable.Great memories tho
