Saw something i like so want to prepare for the UK registration process etc. Its a 2002 bike with 9000 km on the clock. can anyone decipher an italian version of a v5c? what else should i be looking for to establish i have clean title when funds transfer? when it arrives, i guess its just following the usual NOVA process to get it legally registered in the UK and if i ride it other than to the mot station before getting it UK registered i am committing an offence?
It’s not difficult you can do the nova online no vat to pay on a bike that old & I think anything over 10 years old doesn’t need a certificate of conformity. Just go on the net & print out Registering a vehicle in the UK Fill in as much as the form as possible send back with the £55 fee You can’t ride it on the rd without a UK registration. And you need to mot it on the chassis no & Insure it on the chassis no too Send it all back & tickety boo I got my documents back in 10 days. Including documents that I needed to send back to Italy that was stamped by the DVLA. Hope this helps cheers Paul
