I've posted a wanted thread up, but thought I'd put a note in here too. Basically I need a set of road-biased tyres to go on my track GSXR for a track day next month. It'll be too cold for my SC2's and if it's wet I have a set of wheels with wet tyres. So if anyone is changing their tyres soon and they're in decent condition - the amount of tread on the side is obviously more important than the top - then let me know! I'll arrange the courier and you might even save a couple of quid if you're not charged for disposal. The ironic thing is that I changed the tyres on my 1199 recently and didn't even think about keeping them. The Supercorsa SP's would have been perfect :cry: It's a 120/70/17 front and I don't mind either a 180 or 200 rear. I have a 6" rear wheel on the GSXR, so more suited to a 190/200 but there's a 180 on there at the moment and it felt fine last time out. Cheers! Matt
Matt, I have a BT023 (180/55/17) that needs to come of my Monster rear wheel. As I'm one of the most conservative riders you will ever meet the tyre is nicely squared off with loads of grip left at the edges.
Many thanks for the offer. I don't wish to sound like an ungrateful so-and-so but I might hold out for someone who has a pair, just so I have a matching set to go on the bike. Saying that, if I have no luck then I'd very much take you up on your kind offer
